As a nascent graduate, Threex3 was a unique insight into the reality of life as a graphic designer in Ireland. Working at Atelier, Detail and Zero-G in short bursts gave me an invaluable grounding in the differing creative processes of leading studios. Importantly, it also gave me an appreciation for studio culture and an understanding of the industry itself. Over the 9 months of internships I developed vital skills that can only be attained through such real-world practice, and which I still use day-to-day as a professional.
Since finishing Threex3 I have continued to work on a vast array of projects with varied clients. I moved to London and spent a year designing Brands and Advertising in the digital realm for the likes of Nike, Bacardi and Unilever. Now I work as an Information Designer at Applied — a leading Wayfinding consultancy. I maintain an active freelance practice too which allows me to do work in fields such as Healthcare, Music, Fashion and Architecture.’
Many thanks to to everyone at Detail, Zero-G and Atelier for giving me such a great start.
